Melbourne University Bookshop Update
SPP Medical & Legal Books and Melbourne University Bookshop will cease to trade at 3.00pm, Thursday, 17th May 2012.
In their place, Melbourne University has appointed a licensee to provide bookshop services for the University and the community that uses the services of the current bookshops.
The new licensee is The Co-op Bookshop (University Co-operative Bookshop Limited)
The Co-op will commence trading as of 8.30am Monday, 21st May 2012 in the same locations. Contact details and address will remain the same.
For legal privacy reasons we are unable to forward unfilled customer orders to the new operator without their permission Consequently any unfilled customer orders not received into the bookshops by Tuesday 15th is unlikely to be supplied. We deeply regret the inconvenience this may cause and ask that you contact the new supplier with your details and your special order number (if you know it) so that your order can be fulfilled.
Please rest assured that Web orders placed through the Melbourne University Bookshop are not charged to customer credit cards until the item arrive into the store and are ready to be shipped.
Orders taken through the SPP website that have been prepaid are currently being worked through and customers are being contacted so that refunds can be issued.
Holders of gift and exchange vouchers will be able to redeem the vouchers via the new operator. The Co-op email details are as follow.
